Our exquisite Thailand wines

GranMonte Uniquely located in Asoke Valley, Khao Yai, Thailand, and conveniently lies adjacent to Khao Yai National Park, approximately 160 km from Bangkok. Asoke Valley is known in Thailand for its beautiful yellow blossoms special to the region of Khao Yai. The serene atmosphere and natural surroundings of the valley provide the perfect setting for the GranMonte estate. The grandeur of Khao Yai mountain ranges inspired the name "GranMonte", which translates to "big mountain”

At 350 metres above sea level and in a valley with gentle slope with a total area of 100 rai (40 acres), GranMonte has the ideal mesoclimate for growing high-quality grapes for winemaking in a wet tropical region. Our varieties include Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chenin Blanc, Viognier, Semillon, Verdelho, Durif and Grenache. Others under experiment include Sangiovese, Barbera

At GranMonte, the team work hard to earn their reputation and are fully committed to producing 100% Thai wines of only the best quality and class. They use only the finest and freshest produce, and their innovative winemaking techniques capture all the important aromas and tastes that set their  products apart. Tropical viticultural and winemaking techniques are developed to suit the soil and climate conditions particular to Thailand, resulting in GranMonte’s high quality products. They pride ourselves on their sustainable practices which are important in preserving the environment and ensuring the health and safety of the workers.

GranMonte’s single estate vineyard has a wine grape planting area of 90 rai (approximately 36 acres or 15 hectares) and lies in a valley 350 metres above sea level. They operate their vineyard with a precision farming system called ‘Smart Vineyard’, which incorporates a microclimate monitoring system. The system greatly assists us in their tropical vineyard management to achieve the best possible quality and higher yield of grapes in this unconventional viticulture climate.
