Grensloos – Without boundary. The name of the wine was inspired by the Jakkalsfontein road, which serves as a watershed boundary. The Jakkalsfontein road running up the base of the Paardeberg separates our two properties Kalmoesfontein and Jakkalsfontein. The water captured on Kalmoesfontein flows through our fields, contours and dams, where after the excess finally meets up with the Bergriver flowing to the West Coast and discharges in Velddrif. The water captured on Jakkalsfontein flows in a different direction through our farm and ends up in the Diep River which flows towards Cape Town
