Rall NOA Chenin Blanc 2023
This third release of a single vineyard Paardeberg chenin comes from a 2.1ha site planted in the late 1960’s. As well as now contributing to the Rall white, a selection of one standout vessel from the very top part of this vineyard gets bottled separately for Noa
The grapes are picked earlier than the other parcels and fermented and aged in concrete egg to add texture while still keeping the wine in a very fresh and almost primary state until bottling after 10 months.
The result is a wine with crunchy acidity, even greater tension than before and fine texture that will develop well over the next 7-10 years
