Apart from the recent JP 5 star rating, this DeMorgenzon Maestro White 2014 has also earned the recognition on local shores by emerging as 1 of the only 3 Gold Award winner at the 12th UOB Tower Club Wine Competition. This is after a rigorous round of tasting of a panel of UOB top executives as well as the highly respected Ch’ng Poh Tiong.

The secret behind DeMortgenzon's success can be traced back to its unique practice of playing specially selected Baroque music to its vines & to its wines round the clock. This is believed to translate into wines exquisite balance, elegance and complexity.

The arable land of the Swartland region is ideally suited for the growth of grapes in the bushvine style and the many microclimates enable the cultivation of a wide selection of wines. The end product is much sought after for blending as bush vines produce grapes of excellent quality and flavor.

The climate is hot and dry, which they used to their advantage in Swartland’s vineyards. Dry conditions and a lack of water in the soil leads to lower yields and smaller, more-concentrated fruit.
