The Hemel-en-Aarde Valley has seen an explosion of quality Pinot noir over the last decade, and they believe it to be capable of producing wines of world renowned authenticity. As testimony to the quality of their wines, in the 2015 Platters Wine Guide, their 2013 Pinot Noir won the 5 stars award for the 6th consecutive year.
Tulbagh Winery was founded in 1906 and has produced quality wines ever since. With an illustrious history, Tulbagh is the first export cellar, the first cellar to manufacture sparkling wine and the first cellar to launch a ship when Queen Mother christened the 38’000 ton Windsor Castle with Witzenberg. Today with the merger of Tulbagh and Porterville Cellar, they are the situated at Het Land van Waveren and one of the biggest cellars in the country.
Casa Vinicola Caldirola Srl from Missaglia in Italy, is one of the country’s oldest wine bottling companies with roots dating back to 1897. Caldirola also is the official supplier of the famous soccer clubs AC Milan and F.C. Internazionale, Milan. The higher quality wines like Prosecco, Chianti, Pinot Grigio & are bestsellers outside of Europe.
The story of Groot Constantia, the finest surviving example of Cape Dutch architecture and one of South Africa’s foremost historical monuments and tourist attractions, goes back to 1685.

Mischa Estate is a 3rd generation family-run farm that was bought just after the Second World War by the winemaker, Andrew Barn’s grandfather. Their brands, “Mischa” and “Eventide” have received numerous gold or double-gold awards and top marks from both Robert Parker and John Platter.
At DeMorgenzon, they play music to our vines and our wines 24 x 7. They have speakers strategically placed in the vineyard and in the cellar.
This is apparently the secret to their multiple award winning wines. Their Maestro White recently won the White Wine of the Year award in the Platters Wine Guide.

Rickety Bridge is one of the most progressive wineries in the Cape.
